Joe Lattimore
With a degree in woodworking from Northern Michigan University as well as an education from Roberto Venn Luthiery school in Arizona, Joe has a been a creator of functional art pieces for over 10 years. After graduating, Joe lived in Santa Cruz, California, where he worked as Shop Foreman at Rick Turner Guitars and mastered CNC production. Upon returning to Michigan, Joe dove into the world of home construction where he met Chad Kotlarz of LivWell Homes. That brings us to today, where Chad and Joe have combined forces to create Rootcraft TC.
Lee Canning
Lee graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Buffalo State, where he then went on to build a diverse career in fabrication and residential construction, including stainless steel, metalwork, and trim carpentry. He’s gained experience in nearly every stage of the home-building process—from framing and finish work to cabinetry and installation. Lee also served as a Firefighter in Niagara Falls before he and his wife returned to Michigan, where they built their own home for their family, two young boys and a growing batch of farm animals.
Cara Green
With over 14 years of experience in residential design, Cara is passionate about creating spaces that embody timeless, creative and practical design. A graduate of Adrian College with a degree in Interior Design, she enjoys building relationships just as much as designing spaces, and believes that great projects start with great conversations and solve problems creatively. Outside of work, Cara enjoys exploring Michigan's beauty with her husband Claude. Whether camping, hiking, discovering new ORV trails or catching sunsets along the Lake Michigan shoreline, she feels fortunate to be a Northern Michigan native.
